I certainly wouldn’t.
The problem is, this FreeIndex review is for my own company and I have absolutely no idea who David Rainer is.
At Ubisan, we make a point of getting to know all of our customers well and pride ourselves on being contactable, highly responsive and deeply caring about what our clients think about us. We take any and all customer feedback seriously and try to learn from our mistakes.
What this Freeindex listing highlights is that it’s incredibly easy for any business to get their reputation unfairly hijacked and misrepresented. Often, the review or directory sites that carry these listings offer very little scope for recompense or indeed removal of listings.
With that in mind, it’s important that you establish your own web presence and make it as strong as possible. It needs to project your core company values and re-assure both potential and existing clients alike that they are in safe hands.
This review may not be too damaging to me. My listing on Freeindex is minimal (I’m currently 1,130th out of 15,670 on their listings for web design professionals) and I can use my blog to respond properly. Not all businesses are as well protected though – how would unfair negative reviews impact on your business?

After contacting Freeindex a few times and going through the reporting process, the dodgy reviews were finally removed.
